Toyota Isis -not very common but is it any good!

Does anyone know anything about this vehicle, I couldn't find any previous threads on here. I don't think is a common vehicle, I'm a bit worried about finding parts in the future but then again is a Toyota!! so maybe is not that bad!!!

I like the sliding door, missing B pillar on the LHS and the fuel is ok for the size of the vehicle.

Read a few reviews, mostly are positive.

Any suggestion would be great. Thanks

They're made under licence from Toyota by KAW using Toyota engines.
2.0L can come in 4WD. Apparantly they drive okay. You should drive one.

Its quite a big, heavy vehicle for such a small engine - I wouldn't expect fuel economy to be very good.

Also the 2l is a direct injection engine and has a poor reputation.

I'm trying to compare this with Ipsum. The Ipsum has a 2.4L EFI DOHC, more torque and bhp than the Isis but is 20kg heavier. So the EFI engines are more fuel efficient than direct injection engines!!

The Ipsum is a much better car!

No, in general direct injection engines are usually more efficient. The issue with direct injection is with long term reliability.
