hi.i have 89 2 liter petrol & overnite battery drains.ive disconnected clock&radio but still.when take battery termanal off .week later still full charge so it isnt faulty battery.like to fix things myself but dont know where to start.any ideas be much appreiciated please

Usual problem in cases like this is an unnoticed boot light or under-bonnet light or similar. Check out your vehicle when it's pitch dark and see if there is any stray light! Otherwise it's a case of putting an ammeter/multimeter in series with the battery and pulling fuses until you isolate the circuit that's drawing current!

eventually removed wire from battery+ to driving light relay.draining problem solved.thankyou tmenz
