what are these cars like, are they reliable or have any problems and what are they like on gas! They seem relatively small for a station wagon. Looking at trading in my mazda atenza wagon for one of the newer caldinas 2003 and up model

What don't you like about the Atenza!

I don't think there is any gain to be had there TBH.

my mazda is very low (was like that when I bought it) and i can't take it anywhere (not even out of my driveway) without scraping the ass out of it. I have ripped the bumper off it 4 times on driveways and those stupid concrete block they put in the end of car parking spaces.

a set of springs will cost you around $350-400- either fit yourself, or head down to some kind of small workshop - maybe even with a few boxes of beer

Yep if thats the only aspect of the car you don't like, don't change it!Have a talk to a suspension specialist and get new springs and if needed, new struts, or even look for some good second hand ones from a wrecker, don't forget to get a wheel alignment done too. It's going to be a hell of a lot cheaper than trading up to another car.

They're like a hatchback not a proper station wagon.
I've only driven the 1.8 and its nothing to write home about.
