Hi i have a 2002 mazda tribute,today when i started it up it felt like it was kinda missing abit while sitting in park.when i revd it up it started shuddering alot and felt like it was sort of jolting forwards,again not in gear,does any one know what this might be!

How many km's and when was the last service, eg air filter changed, spark plugs changed!

I would start by checking the ignition system and engine mounts. Failing that, I would clean the throttle body and exhaust gas recirculating valve (I hope all this makes sense, there are plenty of videos on 'you tube'). All of these things can be done at home if you have good hand tools and carburettor cleaner.
