Are there any real issues with this motor and what kind of fuel economy can you expect! looking at a 1990 petrol surf with 190000 been regularly serviced. Cheers.

It's up to you whether you buy it or not, but I'd stay clear of any V6 Surfs.

I had a 3.0 V6 surf - bought it *just* after the previous owner spend over $2k reconditioning the cylinder heads after an inevitable blown head gasket. Not very powerful and heavy on the gas - it averaged about 15L/100kms. Expect close to 20L/100km travelling around town. My Toyota Century 4L V8 which weighed about the same could get better gas milage.
