The Car may be rare, but I doubt the alternator is. Check the Brand and Model of the Alternator and visit a Wrecker who specialises in Mazda, you may be pleasantly surprised

Also known a 929;) Try Ford wreckers too as they share a lot of engines.especially the F series.
