These cars sold here for $90,000 when they were new.
I would think its probably worth around $3,000 now based on milage and condition.

"929" badge was applied to the succeeding Sentia for the few export markets which received the last two generations.
so only interior could be different and extra power on engine.
Big gas using engines are low on demand with petrol prices so high. everyone wants small cars pushing a old mint mazda 323 well past 3 grand but not a V6

intrade, May 12, 8:29pm
its either 140kw or 3,0i Limousine with 151 kW built till 1998
older mazda are notoriously hard to get parts for.

lol thats not alot of k's for a tank of gas.seriously anbody think it could actually pull that or is he just reading the highest number on his speedo!in any case he shouldnt be doing it on the "open road" and telling people about it wont help him get any more money for it.unless of course hes trying to appeal to a little spot face dickbag like himself. which of course is pointless since spot face dickbag drifter wannabes dont generally have 10k to spend on a car and the ones that do wouldnt spend that money on a 929.

vtecintegra, May 13, 1:12am
Is it the old square one of the newer round one (1991 was the changeover year)!

Anyway the other posters are correct it isn't worth anything to a drifter, even if they wanted that model they'd be better opting for a tired high mileage one as almost everything mechanical or suspension related would need replacement anyway

3-4k if you find the right buyer. You can buy a nice car for 10-15k what would be far superior to that car.

that be the 151kw model

thats not the 929 we have for sale the one we have for sale is the HC10E2

jason18, May 13, 4:03am
yours is that squarer shape aye similar to a cosmo
!

blayke-m, May 13, 5:13am
look it up and you will see it is square yes but its not a cosmo or a sentia

vtecintegra, May 13, 5:17am
Doesn't really make a difference to value.

929 means an export model with the SOHC V6, not an especially good engine.

blayke-m, May 13, 5:26am
this one is it only has 60,000 kms from the factory floor and we havent had a problem with it so far and we have all the paper work for the car from the day it was first bought from wilksbrook te awamutu

_peas, May 13, 5:43am
The only person you are convincing here of the value is yourself. If you believe its worth that much then great, but it's not because you won't get someone that will pay what you are asking.

If you had $12k what sort of car would you buy Blayke-m!

trouser, May 13, 6:47am
Low kays or not it just isn't a desirable car. Certainly not worth much over the odds.

jason18, May 13, 6:53am
If ya think its worth 10k list it for that. The market will decide and you will get to keep the car in the family most likely

freedomaira320, May 13, 6:58am
Square! So its the older model. I think someone pointed out that 1991 was the changeover year, but everyone charitably thought you were referring to the newer shape. I think you'll find it's worth even less.

johnf_456, May 13, 7:25am
Simple, put it on trademe and let the buyers determine. If it does not sell reduce the price every week or so.

NZ is famous for being the dumping ground for outdated models. Lucky us.

jsbike, May 13, 10:04am
as opposed to all driving old escorts and austin land crabs like the days before imports! I'll have my "out dated" jap car thanks.

un_known, May 13, 10:30am
i drove a land crab. well a 1300. and i realised how lucky we really are i couldnt drive the thing pedals were too close together everytime i hit the brake i hit the gas too. did the english have really small feet in the 70's or something!

blayke-m, May 13, 12:21pm
in reply to jason18 no its the one after that i think

doug207, May 13, 12:59pm
So you have the invisible model!
Seriously, the 929/sentia and 929/Luce are not worth much at all, they were too heavy, too soft and not an LS400.ergo the values dropped horribly.

trouser, May 13, 9:31pm
You have it wrong. The people that are going to buy the dumped epicas will tell you.

pixieface11, Feb 22, 6:12am
If its the square shape as Jason18 pointed out, you would be VERY lucky to get 3 grand for it. No one wants these.
