well im looking for another project, and i cant decide, ive done a few ford escorts and bedfords. im pretty keen on older vehicles around 60s-late 80s. also prefer vans and panelvans. so can anyone reccomend a new project for me! im having trouble finding anything i like

i will be listing my xc sundowner next week, i have sold the gs bonnet,grille-lights and the dash ,mags and motor and box will be gone too hopefully.Shouldhave a standard bonnet, grille and rims on it by the weekend.

i wouldnt care too much for teh bonnet and grille as id make my own. was that the listing you had up and i asked about teh wagon minus engine and box!

yeah, it would make a good custom van in the right hands.

i could be tempted. not a fan of its looks from the front end, but that could be changed easy enuf. rolling body! whats your ball park figure!

why did you strip it! it looked mint as

quickstitch, Apr 19, 6:36am
i got it cheap and was only after the motor and four speed for another toy. $1200. not mint, a little bit ruff round the edges, but looks fairly solid, last owner was a welder, not a panel beater. he cut the rust out along the roof line and removed the gutter at the same time. he painted it too, average at best.

could you throw up some pics of the worst areas, and the interior. im keen but cant get to auckland for a few weeks.

quickstitch, Apr 19, 7:04am
the worst areas would be the bottom tailgate, dented and off a ute (has hook holes). there is some blistering on the lip of rear pass. wheel arch but i think it is just paint blistering. rear inside corner of drivers door is just starting to go. haven't opened pass. door to inspect yet. firewall/engine bay clean. will have seats and carpets out tomorrow, can check cabin out then. some minor bubbles surfacing on rear seam between roof and tray. I think the whole van need sanding back and a squirt of hi-fill primer and then hitting with a long board to get real straight. i will pop my head under the front guards and check out the rocker panel, a common spot for rust in early falcons

sweet, cheers. does it have tags and plates! or are they dead too!

quickstitch, Apr 19, 7:15am
has tags, and plates are on hold.

on another note, ive just aquired a beford van, it has a running 202 with a 3 speed auto in it. will the front end support a V8 or do i need to replace it! also will the 202 engine mounts match up to a 308 or 253! does the gearbox match aswell!

daryl14, Apr 23, 8:03am
It definitely has potential. and its sitting on Jag front and rear suspension. Very easy to convert to RHD and lots of parts around in nz. It has Herb's Toggery and dry cleaners Chinook Montana original signwriting on side. Chassis has a NZ plate too.

I have more phots if you want to contact me through a wanted listing.
