went to start car yesterday wouldn't kick in, lights and dash working and windows then after a few attempts they stop working, change battery car goes, but dont drive car, went to start today same thing as yesterday

Check that there isnt a light on anywhere . Is the boot light staying on ! etc . Could be electrical leakage thru a stuffed diode in the alternator . Time to visit an auto sparky for a more confirmed diagnosis !
