Hi What radar bands do they use here in NZ! K, Ka, POP, Laser!

Laser (although not a 'radar' band) and I think Ka. the speed camera radar is different to the radar in the cars.

car stalkeroperates at 37.5 MHZ, Kaband . photo is newcant pick it upso dont know what its transmitting onbelieve its a low frequency .

Very low power K-band on the newer mobile cameras. Ka on the older ones. POP isn't a band - it's a method of operation - short duration. Ka for the Stalker mobile microwave units in patrol cars.

Police don't use radar. Ships, planes, submarines and navigational stations use radar. Police have a mix of laser (light) and microwave technologies for speed detection.
