hi there ive just put a new 120 amp unipoint alt on to replace the 40 amp bosch unit. i have connected the b+ and d+ wires but the old bosch alt has a little + plug which the unipoint doesnt have. does this need to be connected to a terminal or left unplugged!

has the new alternator got a built in regulator! if not then im sure the + plug goes to regulator

according to the box it has a surpression capacitor plugged into the + terminal. regulators on back of alternator

d+ is warning light so it has in built reg + is for supressor

so i dosent need to be plugged in then!
