Good solid cars, shouldnt give issues but that dashboard is hideous. Infact most nissan dashboards from that era are nothing pretty.

not a bad car at all, however for its 2005 model year and price I would expect something with more features. That particular model is the last of the old 1999-2005 shape Pulsar/Bluebird Sylphy and therefore doesn't stack up well compared to other 2005 era vehicles in terms of crash safety or other features.
I just think for $9k you could do better. If you are dead set on that shape Pulsar then find a 2002-2003 model or an import Bluebird Sylphy which is essentially the same car and save yourself $3-4k+.
