Got an aging 1990 323 which has been brought back into use. The red light on the left side of dash with the muffler symbol on it fluctuates on and off. What is it trying to tell me! Thanks in advance.

which you may find is due to a faulty sparkplug or lead as the unburnt fuel burn in the cat, it overheats the cat, and on comes the light.
