Nope, changeover for the the Ipsum was 2001. All 3 engine options are belt driven. Switched to Z series engine (1AZ etc) after 2001, before that the petrol ones were the S series (3S etc).

If its the 1AZ-FE engine, then its got a chain.

Thanks Kaz Also we have one from a yard for the weekend but I'm unsure how to tell what model spec it is. Husband said it has HID lights but is collum change, has factory tints and body kit.

body kit and tints can be added to any spec. The stuff the higher spec ones come with is reversing camera,front camera,FACTORY alloy wheels.boot spoiler and a few other little extra's

Thanks Kaz It has the rear spoiler,Sat Nav in Japanese and rear camera that I can't get to work as the unit is in Japanese. Will take a few pics in the morning and see if you can identify if its the sport spec.

Nice looking car--I couldn't figurte the price till I saw it was a 6 seater-6 seaters are cheaper but generally higher spec'd--does it have a flip down DVD player!

Does have a flip down unit that is a HDD Sat Nav etc but is all in Japanese and I can't even turn the damn thing on.
