that Carjam says "Subject to WOF inspection!: Yes WOF expiry: expired 2010, December 25th (1 year 5 months 5 days ago) Last inspection: 2010, June 25th (Pass)" and "Licence type: L (Licence for normal road use) Licence expiry: 2011, January 18th (expired 1 year 4 months 1 week 4 days ago) Latest licence issued on: 2010, October 22nd at 17:00 Continuous licence: Yes" BUT - "Registration status: Active Registration origin: Imported Vehicle usage: Private Passenger Cause of latest registration: Used Date of registration: 2005, January 19th Was registered overseas!: Yes Previous country of registration: Japan Date of first registration overseas: 1995, Nov 01" . Is that like the rego isn't dead!

Without logging you view the cached copy, but if you create an account you have 3 looks ups a month I believ and unlimited for non cached lookups.
Edit: If only others would be more helpful instead of attacking people.

Hence I originally said "if i recall", long day and I don't use the site often so the information was a bit scratchy. But I was still right about the cached which is the problem the OP is experiencing. Has if someone looks up a plate before it gets cached for future use.
I have no problem with admitting I got it wrong but there is no need to attack / insult other members because they get it wrong.

trogedon to answer your question: carjam pay for vehicle details, but the stolen check is free and available to anyone. SO when you query a vehicle without paying they serve up a new stolen check, but the cached vehicle details.
