I just heard a call over the EMS radio--carport fire in Papakura.

Sorry I got busy doing some chores before I made it out to the car, and now the kids are home, so I'll have to have a go at this tomorrow.
But yes lyonruge, you are totally correct. I did run the fuel low - that could be the start of the problems to be honest. hmmm.
Keen as to give it a clean out now :)

lyonruge, Jun 27, 4:25am
ok, worth trying to backfire it clear, at least it will identify the problem, ill look back tomorrow to see how you got on.

Hows your eyebrows and eyelashes!

lyonruge, Jun 27, 4:28am
you should be able to see the fuel filter, probably a small clear plastic one, two hoses, pull it off and try emptying it out, into a clean container, see if theres any crap in there, they are only 5-10 bucks at repco.

lyonruge, Jun 27, 4:28am
lifes much simpler not having to worry about trimming those!

lol no singed hair cos I haven't attempted anything yet. Are you guys telling me I could set myself or my car on fire doing this! lol!

As for the filter. I replaced that yesterday cos the one that was on there was apparently wrong.Think I mentioned this earlier :)

is it insured!

lyonruge, Jun 27, 4:38am

gypsydancer, Jun 27, 6:03am
