Sorry I got busy doing some chores before I made it out to the car, and now the kids are home, so I'll have to have a go at this tomorrow. But yes lyonruge, you are totally correct. I did run the fuel low - that could be the start of the problems to be honest. hmmm. Keen as to give it a clean out now :)

ok, worth trying to backfire it clear, at least it will identify the problem, ill look back tomorrow to see how you got on.

you should be able to see the fuel filter, probably a small clear plastic one, two hoses, pull it off and try emptying it out, into a clean container, see if theres any crap in there, they are only 5-10 bucks at repco.

lol no singed hair cos I haven't attempted anything yet. Are you guys telling me I could set myself or my car on fire doing this! lol!
As for the filter. I replaced that yesterday cos the one that was on there was apparently wrong.Think I mentioned this earlier :)
