hi all i have a 92 mirage with a 4g92 twin cam in it. ive got a prob its got no nuts lol its like a cabby car the first crab kicks in but not the 2nd one. 1st gear when i put the foot down when u hit like 5000 rpm it looses power like i have put the hand brake on and it red lines at 8000 rpm and no way i can get it there haha, 2nd gear is a bit better still died outs round 6000.
can anyone help what could be wrong. thanks put it nice the car is flat in power

firstly it's not a type R, that's Honda speak. Is it MIVEC! If so have you checked the oil level lately! MIVEC wont engage if the oil pressure is too low.
