I'm trying to sort the fuel system on my project v8, the engine is a lexus/toyota 1uzfe. The pressure is controlled by vacuum to aroud 42 psi above intake manifold pressure but thing is I can't figure out if it controls the flow back to the the tank or the input into the fuel rail! The regulator is on the drivers side injector rail. And both input and return pipes are high pressure pipe.

The regs bleed off the pressure and the return(flow back) is lower pressure, however at idle most of the fuel is returning to the tank, so using the rated pipe makes sense.Low vacuum rises the bleed off point ie more pressure
