Why don't you repair it yourself.watch the many Youtube vids on damage repairs.give it a go, You cannot do worse than what's there. Get the colour matched by car paint supply company in aerosol can form.a bit dearer I know but good for the DIYer. You may be surprised at your repair job. Nothing to lose. Follow the preps as described in the vids. I guess that DIY cost = approx$150.00

It can't be that hard to get a used metallic grey door for a Pulsar, even if a good one came up that needed painting and blending it shouldn'tbe worth more than $600 to do. DIY metallic paint matches done with spraycans look crap if they are done wrong, at least that part of it is best left to pros.

couple years back, daughter drove past a post, put a big dent into back passenger side door, sourced a door from wreckers same colour, but different shade stripe, had it fitted and bogged and painted dent in rear guard, $700 all up.

OP--A scratch isn't gonna cost $900 to fix in a 96 pulsar. It has to be a fair bit more than a scratch.
Its darn hard to offer propper advice without knowing the actual extent of the damage.

Sure thing, I will take a picture and post it up.
