I accidentally put reg gas in my diesel Passat, got the Sucki Moto guy to drain it, I assume he knocked crud in the tank as the car stopped working when low on gas, towed to dealer, dealer replaces pump $1200.00 2006 B6 Passat. Cant be bothered to chase down Sucki Motoguy as its a pain. My point. Dealers dont fix stuff, they replace stuff and you get a one year warrantee on that part. Bits are steep. End of story.

garages trying to hold customers to ransom at xmas time sucks no end , I d be shopping around auto dismantlers and in the trademe and other places car parts , bound to be someone selling a aftermarket model for half that price

go by the model and engine number on your ownership papers for the search and yes there ll be heaps out there but getting a warranty on the one you buy or a mecanic that can tell the difference before you pass any cash over is very important

Cheap pumps from Punjab India is what these sorts of customers want and can getandthink they are saving thousands!.
^^^ Very nice, but all I see is fuel pumps for petrol rodeos, and one 4 cylinder in-line diesel mechanical injector pump, rebuilt, presumably for something Isuzu made before thelate '80s.
