$300K is not big cheese in this game. For a medium sized business it's only 30 or 40 cars, some of the larger ones are landing several hundred a month. "Cover" depends on how you pay for your stock, and to whom, and in what currency. I have to say, over the years, I've probably gained as much as I've lost in currency trades- with the exception of the Big Fall a decade or so back, when the rate tumbled so fast we were left chasing it like a greyhound.

I know of several dealers that had their business almost wiped out overnight.

I have found it remarkable that the government is obsessed with making it hard to sell old cars, yet allows software fraud at plague like levels here. I can find three companies in my area selling copied software and not one department ( and I suspect no one on this board either ) cares one iota.
