Scary examples of this in Sunday star article yesterday. One where guy bought $2500 holden agreeing to as is where is, did 5000 km in two months when it failed a wof and the tribunal allowed him to return it for a full refund. Hmmmm, could be cheap motoring here, by as is car of dealer with say three months wof, tour South Island a few times and if it fails wof give it back! Stupid.
