Still lying, thieving dealers out there

I thought this kind of thing was well and truly over, but no.
Someone wanted to trade in their 1998 'SP20' Familia on a car of mine today, that they bought from a dealer a year ago for over $6000.
Turns out it is not an SP20, but an 1800cc 4WD 'regular' one and worth substantially less. (Has the fake SP20 written down the sides.)
She was told it was repainted due to fading, but in fact it was repainted due to being written off and the time it was sold to her, matches the time it was re registered.
It is now a year later, so perhaps little can be done, but for an RMVT to misrepresent a car is not on. Seems he got away with it.

toby--um before dissin fellow dealers I'd be sure that she isn't conveniently forgetting the facts. -a look at the purchase paperwork would tell it all.
Sorry matey but its amazing how stories change when the paperwork turns up.

and if the dealership is still operating surely there are avenues for redress if the paperwork does line up with the story
