I am looking at a car that is a Subaru s-gt (im not sure if i am allowed to post the link) but the hood scoop looks a bit like it is glued on. What are the features that differentiate a genuine s-gt and a non-turbo wrx (2007+ shape)

All wrx are turbo, the hottest version being the sti. If the 2007 is third gen then both use a 2.5. The s-gt isn't a wrx, it is a 2 litre turbo jap model. Hopefully an expert will fill you in on other differences as I suspect it hasn't ft the goodies (brake, suspension etc) that a wrx has.

The S-GT has a functional hood scoop- the interwarmer still sits in the traditional place on top of the engine- but it's certainly no WRX, even if plenty are advertised as such!

Pretty sure the S-GT it's better than a local spec WRX anyway - it has the more powerful 2l
