I have a 2001 Nissan Avenir W11, which has started making a loud crunching noise from the right front when the steering is at or close to full lock and the vehicle goes over a bump, i.e. entering or backing out of a driveway. No noise when going over bumps with the steering straight, or when on full lock forward or reverse on a smooth surface. Possibilities?

maybe the rubber mounts somewhere, maybe at the top of the strut in the suspension towers making the noise! try some crc
