ranger is a great ute but if you don't want one for whatever reason then Colorado is a whole generation better than hilux and has been around long enough to iron out the gremlins earlier ones suffered. Get the auto you will never regret it.

You can betcha the hilux will still be going strong in 20 years, but you won't see a Colorado. There are still qquite a number of old hilux around, but old rodeos are like hens teeth, and worth nothing. Stick with a Toyota imo
