It's important I stick with dimensions that keep me in the 1600 cc class Fiat is 80 x 80 = 1608 Lada is 79 x 80 = 1579 +/- I could destroke the bugger by 0.015 " which makes the journal C/L's a tad closer ie a stronger crank in theory . but it will stuff me around for undersize shells . the piston P to CH is about 10 > 12 mm different ie : the K piston is down the hole that much on a Lada rod . means I have to change the rod length. also m/cing the P allows me to go for the tolerance I want on the lands and skirt . and yes I can deck the block a bit for 0.010 " for P out the top . was hoping someone may have positive info on the ' K ' P,s
