He acted fraudulently with his partners and not the car buyer. Sort of like fiddling the books, how much more are out there? Heaps.

Given he has a friendly enough face, you can get away with virtually anything. I am told I have an honest face and you wouldn't believe the amount of people that come to buy one of my cars without driving them and simply say, "that's OK, I trust you". I jokingly say back something like "you have never met me before and I sell used cars, don't just trust me and please take it for a drive!".

When I applied for my licence in the 90;s it cost $6k in legals & fees, had to front with $100k cash (not house used as collateral or other means), a business plan and reference from my accountant to just name three. Now anyone can rock up to the Courthouse with 5 or $600 and they're away.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
