You could get a 2004-onwards Nissan Fuga, there are a few on Trade Me for about 6 grand. They are lovely cars, yes RWD, some have V8 engines. Very high build quality like a Lexus.

great car till. the head goes,have had about 8 bmw,all end up in the workshop at 200k. even after vigorous servicing. beautiful to drive though thats why i kept buying them,and im mech so fix and then sell,they have a soft compound aluminium,
