Looks like the Audi S6 owner had a change of heart the next day and decided to go ahead with the intake port de carbon.

https://youtu.be/8zmXyB38mRg?t=81 I won't have this problem with my GS350 as it it was better engineered with both direct and port injection. https://youtu.be/PuC64BDdQUE?t=641

It is very strange/confusing. I have never replaced a thermostat at any other time than when the timing belt was done. On my chain driven ute, I changed the thermostat when I changed the water pump, that's at 349 000km from new. I didn't bother with my atenza which was bought at 47 000km and sold at 323 000km. It was still on it's original camchain/waterpump/thermostat.-

I drive a Camery too.
Pity that plastic bits fall off in my hand, or by themselves.
And not actually being able to get into or out of it without a orchestrated series of manoeuvres only made possible with the steering wheel up high & the seat low & back.
Even then it feels like being slipped into a plastic case with hardly any space to move.
Try changing the indicator bulbs.
Fiddly unuseable cruise control on a seperate lever Under the steering wheel.
Hardly any headroom,
It's a ok car but I wouldn't buy one for my use.

If it doesn't now just wait a week and it will.
I just got a rejection for a bit of condensation in the indicator light in a wing mirror. Toyota want $125 for a new light (sealed unit). My answer is to disconnect them both and paint the lenses black. and never return to the toyota agency.

Old cars with personality, kept you off the road while fixing it again with cheap parts.
New cars with personality, keep you off the road while getting it fixed again with expensive parts & labor charges, THEN too broke to afford to drive it.

Two vehicle mentioned in that paragraph, what would you estimate the combined HP to be?

metzeler, Sep 26, 3:57pm
That is impressive.
Mind you 10 seconds to just open the bonnet on my old car is more than equal, don't you think. And there is not one thing that i can not gain access to.

gunhand, Sep 26, 4:12pm
What year Camry is this? are you 7 foot 3 and the size of a bus and hands as big as dinner plates?

bumfacingdown, Sep 26, 5:11pm
And they would have the combined HP of what, in your learned opinion?

jesus2000, Sep 26, 6:12pm
Yeah and next time coming out of my local New World supermarket, I'm going to look around at all the cars in the carpark and pull myself off over all that combined horsepower! There must be at least 10,000hp sitting in front of me! jizz jizz!

marte, Sep 26, 6:25pm
2008, I'm 187cms or near average height. Extremely tall for a Asian.

bumfacingdown, Sep 26, 6:28pm
I am glad not to shop anywhere near that supermarket

cjohnw, Sep 26, 6:29pm
Yeah, can you advise which New World this is, so we can make sure we avoid it!
Cheers.

jesus2000, Sep 26, 7:03pm
Well it was okay for richardmayes to pull himself off over the combined hp of a V6 Estima and a Falcon station wagon sitting in his driveway for a few days.

Well you must be doing something wrong, I have no issue getting into mine and using the cruise is easy as. Nothing has broken off in my hand at all. I have a mate who is of large stature (all ways) and he also has no issue, in fact he looks more uncomfortable in his 2014 commy.
Im at a loss as to your issues. I thought you may have been a hulk of a fella who does not know is own strength at times. I have a work mate like this, we were doing CPR on a dummy not long ago and I hoped to God he never has to do CPR on me because if the heart attack (or whatever) don't kill me he is trying to save me.

gph1961, Sep 26, 7:22pm
not me so I cant

gph1961, Sep 26, 7:30pm
going, going. So this is how it ends.

marte, Sep 26, 7:34pm
I'm 100% Caucasian, so can I.

tamarillo, Sep 26, 8:33pm
Wow this has gone.

trade4us2, Sep 26, 10:09pm
If anybody is still interested, I measured the resistance between the bulb earth and the car chassis, and it is 4 ohms. It should be 0 ohms, so there is a bad earth connection. The bulb still works, but the computer thinks the bulb is faulty, so it displays a message 'REAR BULB FAIL".

intrade, Sep 26, 10:27pm
your lucky ohm readings can be fals also its why i said to voltage drop test and a video to go with it .
now you have to find where the problem is

richardmayes, Sep 28, 10:52am
You're a special boy, never let anyone tell you otherwise!

richardmayes, Sep 28, 10:57am
Thanks, I have passed on the suggestion to check earths, no updates yet, perhaps he is out there doing it now?
