Well scotty I've been thinking a lot about some of the things you've said on here recently and I've had a change of heart. So I went out this arvo after work and made a video as you suggested:

AS you can see it's not as fast as your *awesome* commodore, I guess this means you're the winner and you're the bigger man here.

ninja_man, Nov 8, 4:54am

ninja_man, Nov 8, 5:02am

pollymay, Nov 8, 5:26am
U mad! Lol at the weak attempt to blanket statement that honda owners know nothing

johnf_456, Nov 8, 5:48am

johnf_456, Nov 8, 5:54am
Give it up already scotty20001, you are enough to make one hate holden the way you go on about them

This thread delivers.

So, for the price of a VX Sv6, one could get an E39 540i
http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=OxBVuE1gKMI&feature=related
It goes far better, holds value, is far nicer to drive.
It's comfier, doesn't rattle, has more torque, more power, handles brilliantly (unlike the VX)

Scotty2001: Your VX is not fast, not at all. Get over it.
I'll hit 170 by the time you're at 100 and I use less petrol. But, I don't have the need to prove these things as I am comfortable knowing that there are faster vehicles than mine.

jsbike, Nov 8, 6:11am
I wish, you wish, im sure others wish! he has no balls though, only a mouth :)

johnf_456, Nov 8, 6:44am
Totally, I spend more saving towards things like say a house or holidays. He will say your are mugen20b, I also drive a old hack for work but do I care no. gets me a to b, never breaks down and easy to fix.

Cars devalue lots anyway.

johnf_456, Nov 8, 6:45am
Bingo at the end of the day you are still limited to 100k, traffic and the laws of the road.

johnf_456, Nov 8, 7:01am
Totally, I sure aint wasting tens of thousands on any car when it can drop ten k in a year or as soon as it leaves the dealer. Lol, I`d much rather other assets and holidays any day.

Home ownership aint cheap, plus money for the other half on a limit.

johnf_456, Nov 8, 7:02am
Yeah right you are, give me the tui`s

vtecnet, Nov 8, 7:16am
Finally did 0-100 in the CRX Turbo, but got too much wheel spin even with my RE-11 Tyres. heh, speedo is correct according to my GPS.
One of the runs seemed to come in about 6.6 Seconds. but car works better with a passenger (more traction). also 0-100 isn't this car strong point at all.as it doesn't have full traction until 3rd gear.

http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=iIXqPoZpKdY

The car has its original 24 year old engine (Never rebuilt) a 21 year old turbo from a 1990 Legacy GT (Not rebuilt either) and has been boosted for 5 years. and gets driven like that a lot. goes to track days etc.
Am fitting a TD04HL turbo later this week from a 2003 Subaru WRX

mugenb20b, Nov 8, 7:19am
That's bloody quick! Definitely under 7 seconds.

johnf_456, Nov 8, 8:02am
He wront jsbike, he will back out.

johnf_456, Nov 8, 8:48am

1ollie, Nov 9, 2:22am

jfstyle, Nov 9, 3:56am
bit confused about this thread. if he is mechanally required he could buy a crv 2.0litre block and change over the head and have a much better engine with good bottom end power
