Nice, that's decently quick I actually do like V8 Holdens and do want to buy one sometime, but why the hate! 0-100 in 4 seconds is possible in a Honda. ok scotty say you brought a ve walkinshaw for 97k swwet then say i brought a da6 integra for 3k then pumped 94k into it ,do you think the VE would stand a chance ! infact id buy the integra spend 30k on it then spend the remainder on booze as i wouldnt need nearly 90k to bet any factory built holden you can throw at my bud .
That's over a minute slower, and still slower than the likes of such vehicles as a Ford Focus RS and the decade older Evoltuion IV's and V's!

Hold up - Scottys commodore is auto! You would only just beat my stock $3k civic I bought on sunday for my sister. Round a tight race track you would be struggling to keep up. Next time your in the lower north island look me up, i'd be glad to video the 'race'. Vtecnet, that 'shuttle' was something else. It's staggering that stock drivetrain can handle that kind of abuse even for just 1 run.

scotty, try and ignore some of the abuse hurled your way. It's not that people don't like commodores, it's just that you the way you present your love for your car has people getting mad.
Example - I love my 1996 Honda Accord VTi but I don't go around the motoring forum telling everyone how awesome it is and how it would own every other car out there . because it wouldn't. For what it is though it's fairly quick.
I can definitely appreciate a good V8 Holden or Ford. Especially the HSV and FPV variants. I also get that they're a great tourer for holidays, lot's of space etc. I just probably wouldn't get one. Too many other cars I want to buy :)

Heh, yeah it goes well considering it uses a SOHC engine from the 90's, not even the performance model hehe.
CRV has similar 4x4 System but stronger, would be interesting wacking a big turbo on a manual CRV and turning it into X5 killer. heh

Lets get this clear, I'm not your mate. In fact I'd be suprised of you have any, given the way you vent on here. Your maturilty level and use of colloquialism suggest you are no older than 20, certainly no one I would consider being mates with. Put your car where your fithly mouth is and line someone up at a track, then you might actually have something to rave or cry about.
