Lol not far off. I dirt track so have had my share of old bangers, also keen on derbies and I always do as many races leading up to it as I can. I tinker with standalone and turbos to so I know how to blow things up.
Here is my latest motor, H22a running a big turbo. It went bang, it no go anymore. Time for a proper built motor me thinks.
Nice, perhaps try a different approach. Would be an epic paddock basher slash beach goer

morrisman, rotaries are air cooled like VW's (and all german engines).Really, you should know that ! Best to just use some silastic on them rather than a real gasket anyway.

Oh fair enough then. I had visions of someone blowing up engines all over town haha

the offroader is gone now, more suited to a v8, or at least a 6 cylinder. the a12 just didnt have the low down to make the the most of the rest of it.
Would have been great if it didnt weigh a ton and a half!
Ive heard about a datsun 1200 left in first gear while being towed by a house bus, didnt go bang will about 80km/h which would be about 14000rpm at a guess

Air cooled! Your ears need cooling.

Jan 30, 10:44am
Cause I've been driving them for thirty years and have had two at a time on two occasions.

Bollocks, so subarea's are the only cars with issues eh. Wrong again as per your name.
johnf_456,
Jan 30, 10:56am
Never said break it by over rev.
ola_bitchola1,
Jan 30, 3:33pm
when you only have 4 speeds you have to try make the most of them
wrong2,
Jan 30, 3:51pm
if subies are the only engine with these issues isnt the point
you jumped on subies being rubbished & then tried to make out your just an objective impartial commentator , which your follow up to my post is again not showing

More common than a lot of (ignorant) people think. hit that water at 100kph & the engine will max out in a flash if your boot is into it. Car will be a bit skittery too!

they said it hydrolocked (or whatever its called) and that is an accident so the insurance covers the repair. and we can choose where we want it repaired. im very happy with the insurance! :)
