You wont find an Evo6.5 anywhere near $10k though. you are looking at double that, at least.

crank walk was a very significant problem in NZ even more so then diff failures i would have lost count on the amount i have seen over the years. personally i believe the ct9a range of lancers were by far the best

Just be carefull of rust in the roofs of the mitsi and i wouldnt buy one with hugh k's

both can have head problems. subarus are alittle bit easyer to chance gearbox or clutchs on then a misti due to lack of room in the evo though been east west mounted. and subarus are knowen for oil leaks on the the left hand side exhaust

Roof rust doesn't apply to Evo4 onwards, only Evo1-3 shape, Libero, and early shape RVR.
