None, if any, of you have thought past what would happen if cyclists were made to be registered. Then as 'Legitimate road users' in your eyes, they would be entitled to use a lane wouldn't they! I could just imagine the moaning then about being held-up. I expect some of you will have an answer to that as well.

I don't really care if cyclists don't pay ACC/rego or not. What I get annoyed about is how they want to have the same rights as all other road users (as well as perks), but only when it suits them. They can lane split (I do it on my motorcycle) they can wear zero gear as they all seem to do (one warehouse helmet is gonna do dick) and they can even run red lights as they do. Just don't have a cry about cage drivers when you get knocked off because you were running a red and got a bit of road rash.

Sounds like you do need a helmet anyway. Oh . it is not normal to fall off a bike .but yes like with everything 'accidents' can happen on rare occassions I suppose. I hope you take a bit more care in future.
