Good old Holden tax, thats why i try to fit as many chevy parts in my 308 as i can.

mums.toys, Dec 17, 7:19am

mums.toys, Dec 17, 7:25am
no i think ours is newer looking.also dosnt look like the rodeo in the picture on carjam its the new shape

mums.toys, Dec 17, 7:28am
no definately not like that one

gymee1, Dec 17, 7:35am
Check out cyberspace Auto spares its an aussie outfit, but they do have your type of Pump

treachug, Dec 17, 7:39am
Really! so you haven't had much luck in fitting many chevy parts to your 308 then!

treachug, Dec 17, 7:48am
Yep, its a RA series 3.0 Rodeo. The first three letters (MPA) at the start of the vin tells the parts people its made in Thailand & is the RA series. If it had 'JAA' it would be the last of the TF series Isuzu Japan made Rodeos like the one in the car jam picture.
Once up & running make sure its running on 10w30 oil. Fuchs Titan Super GTO 10w30 was perfect for that series engine.

I have a stroker,so chevy i beams plus bearings,383 pistons,pushrods even pontiac roller rockers.

fordcrzy, Dec 17, 8:03am
nope they are cheaper than 6k.

mums.toys, Dec 17, 8:14am
I can't find it, is it under fuel injection. It's not the fuel pump its the injection pump

intrade, Dec 17, 8:17am
dumb question . how did it actuarly brake down!
and how did they determen its the fuel injector pump!
was the pump removed and sent to diesel expert place!

gymee1, Dec 17, 8:20am

mums.toys, Dec 17, 8:22am
They hooked it up to the computer to diagnose it, it went to fuel injection guy who said a bearing had been through it and shredded it

intrade, Dec 17, 8:28am
you need to find out the engine code of the thing the price above is what the pumps cost they want 400$ extra if you dont send em your old pump. but need correct pump or buy whole spear motor for it and then use flashlube once its fixed and get the egr exhaust gas deleted and the engine computer adjusted if its needed also.

tgray, Dec 17, 8:31am
$6000 PLUS labour.
So if they want THAT much for the part, they probably want another $1000 to put it in then!

intrade, Dec 17, 8:32am
that maybe not the engine if its a vcdi we need to have a different correct engine number .

brouser3, Dec 17, 8:32am
Trade it in on a runner!Or put it on here as a $1 reserve. If ''all'' it needs is a fuel pump, surely somebody out there will see it as a bargain and you could be surprised what you get for it.Ooops risky tho'.

intrade, Dec 17, 8:33am
i dont know any good diesel place in the south up north Akfuel seems to know what he is doing , he sells injector pumps on here some-times.

valiantpaul, Dec 17, 8:37am
If it's a 2003 it won't be vcdi, just a dirty old 4JH1. There must be stacks of crashed vehicles around the place someone could pull a pump out of.

dent, Dec 17, 8:37am
has the fuel pump been removed and take to a fuel injection specialist! If it has do you know who the fuel injection specialist is!

intrade, Dec 17, 8:38am
he or she said it was newer shaped
