They would of been good cars to use, that AWD system was/is a good one.

skoda is just a vw whom has a skoda badge and a different body panel underneath is 100% vw engine and chassys they actuarly made the skodas the more advanced ones and if it was proofen to be good it was moved in to the golf etc after with renault its the other way dacia is a old proofen renault technology under the bonnet.

I prefer the diesels to petrol engines these days, so much effortless power, better economy and usually longer service intervals too. I had a go in an Audi A8, twin turbo V8 diesel a while ago, driving that convinced me that diesel is the future.
