It went over a judder bar. Apparently thats to much for a bmw

lisaka, Aug 5, 2:08pm
Snoopy221 i see why you are called snoopy now.
You look through everyones accounts and posts from years back.
I would like you to be banned from my posts as you are just such a pain.
You would have to be the most annoying person ive ever come accross here.
I would actually pay you to go away if thats what it takes because you are so irritating. Please stop posting on my threads you are not welcome. Public forum or not . Ok

A judder bar will break the suspension on most cars if hit hard enough.

3tomany, Aug 5, 2:16pm
The point i am trying to make is to drop as you have explained the suspension has lost all it's air in a sudden spectacular way. If it was simply worn out it would have developed a slow less sudden leak. I am very curious as to what the mechanic has said?

gph1961, Aug 5, 2:21pm
me thinks some-one is having a laugh by rebating the hook

snoopy221, Aug 5, 2:25pm
Pump and fuses and wiring [LOOSE CONNECTORS ARE COMMON PROBLEM] are ALL in the boot under the spare.
An unsecured spare and a judder bar could well have caused the exact scenario.
! Some things ya just cannae fix!
As we KNOW

gsimpson, Aug 5, 2:31pm
How does one rebate a hook?

lisaka, Aug 5, 2:40pm
What do you not get about im not interested in your opinions .
What will it take to be rid of you.

snoopy221, Aug 5, 2:46pm
Being a qualified experienced mechanic who posts in here often and has traveled the country and fixed some of the unfix able by garages problems personally and met many posters personally and made many friends through this forum
At least 3 mill before i would even think about leaving a public forum and removing my own rights personally
Adds got plenty of bait -LOL

lisaka, Aug 5, 2:51pm
Ohh you are so great how wonddrful for you. Please go blow your trumpet somewhere else.

snoopy221, Aug 5, 2:55pm
Just build a bridge and get over it and go get the damn vehicle seen to and if it happens to be a loose unsecured spare tire that caused the problem then for god's sake if it was you that left it unsecured don't put ya grandchildren in that position.
After all a B M W dealership doing a general check generally will miss something like that and the consequences you and your grandchild are now aware of all because of a simple human error

You run over a judder bar and you baby was slammed (your words).
Slammed? now when I read this think, wow. I imagine the poor baby being smashed into the roof lining then smashed back onto the seat or floor. If so no wonder it was upset. Thing is, how could a baby in an approved car seat strapped in correctly be "slammed" anywhere? Baby seats/capsules can and do save lives and keep baby in place in far far worse situations than hitting a judder bar at the correct speed one should go over one. Or did you think the BMW was some sort of soak it all up off roader thing?

lisaka, Aug 5, 3:03pm
Your way off track. There is no spare tyre . You had no care for my grandchild before so why start now. The reason people get kicked off here is because you are always winding people up.
You have tried again to wind me up hoping i would swear or say something nasty but im well aware of your tactics now.
Your not as clever as you think you are.
I can read you like a book.
As i said im going to push the car off a cliff im done with it.

lisaka, Aug 5, 3:08pm
After reading that im quite disturbed about the thoughts you were imagining happening to the baby.
What do you think about if i say jolted.

gunhand, Aug 5, 3:13pm
OOPs, I got my words (reading) around the wrong way, and for that I will apologize.
Was indeed the suspension that slammed and not the baby.
I was wrong.
So it just goes to show the baby seat done its job.
I do not have an embarrassed emoticon for this.

strobo, Aug 5, 3:23pm
My baby is now my grandchild? I'm confused even more !.

gph1961, Aug 5, 3:40pm
guilty
I await the fine

skull, Aug 5, 4:35pm
Nah mate she said slammed, post #1

"suspension dropped completely and slammed the baby in her seat"

jason_247, Aug 5, 4:43pm
Ok so lisaka seems to have some.confusion.

Despite the name being familiar. The srs airbag that is being recalled has nothing in common with the suspension airbag in the suspension that has failed.

The recalled airbag poses a tiny tiny threat. 7 deaths out of hundreds of millions of cars.

The suspension airbag failure is something that can happen to older vehicles. However its almost impossible to see its coming. Its like looking at a balloon thats about to pop. It looks fine until it blows.

Yes bmw said the car looks safe to drive because it probably did. Look on the flip side. If you asked bmw if the car is ok to drive and they said. "It looks fine but we think you should spent $15,000 replacing every part that might be worn" then you would still be here complaining.

And finally. Sorry about your baby. But every time you mention it the trauma gets worse. It went from crying in shock to screaming in pain. God forbid this thread gets to page 6 it might be fatal.

3tomany, Aug 5, 5:48pm
Awesome. you own a bmw, well i have great news for you. I happen to own a cliff. Would love to help.

ignition328, Aug 5, 7:24pm
lisaka probably can't even drop a fat skid. I wouldn't fix her car either on that basis.

henderson_guy, Aug 6, 12:50am
In case you aren't already aware, the Takata airbag recall affects millions of different vehicles of several different makes in several different countries, and has absolutely nothing to with your suspension. It is not a BMW issue.
It hasn't been repaired yet, because there are no airbags available in the world. They are yet to be made. Push your vehicle off a cliff if you must, but there's a good chance that whatever you buy to replace it will have the same airbag recall issue.
To reiterate. The recall has NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR SUSPENSION!

rob_man, Aug 6, 2:30am
I think this needs to be in Parenting.

lisaka, Aug 6, 3:16am
Did you not read the part where it says i asked the guy if the car is safe az it will be transporting children. He said we have done a check over the car it does have a small leak in the radiator but thats ok vfor now and everything else is fine and good to go. How the possibility of an airbag exploding in your face that has sharp shards that could cut your eyes is safe i dont know.
Obviously they didnt check the airbag suspension which is the most common problem with these and the saftey of children is no longer a concern to you or bmw .
You know what it doesnt matter i. Done with it im destroying the car so nobody else has to suffer this.

lisaka, Aug 6, 3:20am
Yes please that is the most helpful offer yet.
Hopefully we can get snoopy to test the airbag at the bottom.
