BMW jolted my baby after going to bmw service cent

I have spoken to a BMW specialist over the weekend. The airbag fault that it has been recalled for which many weekws have gone by and they still havnt called me to bring it in to fix it. THE FAULT IS ! if the airbag is set off or goes off by accident the material is now brittlel and can cause cuts to the face eyes or any exposed skin that is not covered if it goes off.
Knowing this i think i will just push the car off the nearest cliff as i dont want anyone harmed by this. It sounds like it could blind someone.
BMW must stand for BUY MOTORINGS WORST nightmare.
I now rename these cars BMWN
push car off cliff nobody die !

I'll take it off your hands for $100. When can I pickup? Save you pushing it off a cliff.

snoopy221, Aug 5, 11:54am
Bit like ya last thread about the car that was in an accident. LOL

Looks like no update on what caused it to jolt a baby.
Oh and it ain't a BMW problem with takata air bags it is a multi vehicle world wide problem

lisaka, Aug 5, 11:59am
No consideration for a childs well being from you.

lisaka, Aug 5, 12:01pm
Read it. the airbag suspension collapsed. have you not worked this out yet.

strobo, Aug 5, 12:08pm
umm if it is the airbag suspension as you say how does this correlate to cuts to the face eyes or any exposed skin that is not covered if it goes off or was that a separate air bag issue ?Seems like just shite airbags problems all round?.
What is the story with the hole in the radiator? has the engine been cooked with localized overheating damage at some point?

snoopy221, Aug 5, 12:11pm
Wow when ya finished how about you SIMPLY post EXACTLY what failed in the suspension and WHY as that WILL be a FACTUAL matter -and may even have been caused by the drivers actions as you posted in post number 33

snoopy221, Aug 5, 12:13pm
Oh No More FACTS.

https://www.nzta.govt.nz/vehicles/choosing-the-right-vehicle/recalls-and-damaged-vehicles/recalled-takata-airbags-what-you-need-to-know/

The Takata airbags global recall, potentially affecting up to 100 million vehicles worldwide across around 12 different vehicle manufacturers, is one of the largest vehicle recalls ever undertaken.

lisaka, Aug 5, 12:16pm
Yes these are 2 seperate issues. The car was recalled for airbag fault which could explode in your face and blind you.
Issue 2 ater the car was checked at bmw they told me they had a check over the car and all else is safe then drove off and wasnt long and the back off the car hit the ground with a mighty bang and the baby started screaming in pain.
2 different airbag issues great car .push off cliff nobody die.

lisaka, Aug 5, 12:18pm
Good on you

snoopy221, Aug 5, 12:20pm
Well amazing 89 posts later at least we can alleviate some of the LEGITIMATE baby concerns and at least know the baby was in the back of a vehicle with frontal air bags and it was the rear suspension that failed after being driven over judder bars

skull, Aug 5, 12:30pm
If the rear suspension collapsed while the vehicle was negotiating a judder bar at a reasonable judder bar speed and if the baby was in an approved car seat then the baby would have got a fright not an injury.

strobo, Aug 5, 12:30pm
Terrible . so was the baby really hurt or just frightened? Anyways the service guy said " the vehicle is safe to drive" after he told you the problems and you were armed with that knowledge of a recall issue on a "safety item" and other damage .I'm just wondering what you were thinking ? I agree with you somewhat but no one can guarantee safety of a vehicle ,you must know that safety in the most part rests with the driver making right decisions because the driver is the person behind the wheel. Are you still driving around in it?

comsolve, Aug 5, 12:36pm
Sounds like attention seeking and drama and a piece of crap car.

seadubya, Aug 5, 12:39pm
This is the motoring forum, this lot want to figure out what happened with the vehicle.
There is a parenting forum for garnishing sympathy for the baby, a jobs & careers forum for discussing mechanics potential ineptitude, an opinions & politics forum for apportioning blame and even a new age & spirituality forum in case it was an act of god!
Don't hate the motoring forum for being a motoring forum.

comsolve, Aug 5, 12:41pm
And thousands of far better choice cars in the for sale section. The OP should buy a Nissan or a Toyota next time.

snoopy221, Aug 5, 12:47pm
Incidentally in the motoring forum a 13 year old vehicle with rubber componentry comonly referred to in the trade as a condom well a thirteen year old condom that failed when driven at an unknown speed over a road judder bar setup designed to slow vehicles down that had a thirteen year old condom
fail
well

Sheesh then ya bring babies in to it?
mmkay condom failure and baby .

mecanix, Aug 5, 12:47pm
Lmao.

2 pages of crap

And a cat fight or 2

Possibly the worst automotive forum in the world of www.

strobo, Aug 5, 12:56pm
I initially thought the car was the "baby" lol silly me ! duh!

tshop, Aug 5, 1:12pm

This is about what a car done to the baby. Im amazed how little care you show for children. I sure hope you dont have any.
Seems to be a few baby hate people here.

3tomany, Aug 5, 1:39pm
3 pages now and we still do not know what caused the suspension failure.
Have you had this looked at yet OP? I am very curious as to how this failed so suddenly. Still sounds like impact damage to me? I suspect the vehicle has had an impact with something?

comsolve, Aug 5, 1:40pm
Nah. She just wants to tell us all that we hate babies.

so you spammed them.

3tomany, Aug 5, 1:46pm
Your daughter might want to consider one of these. Should handle judder bars.
