It has nothing to do with the price, because you should be unhappy if you have trouble with a new car whether it cost you $20,000 or $120,000, the principal is the same.
In respect of your impractical remarks, you clearly don’t get it, if you want practical you go and buy an A3! Christ don’t go buying an RS3 if you don’t appreciate the nature of a high performance car. no brainer.

If a negative can't afford something it makes them even more negative . What ever they have will be the best, and they got it at a great price . They probably see their car as an investment . Whatever make's them happy though eh .

That’s the one, it’s all relative hey, some people just can’t see the forest for the trees.

A cracked headlight lens and a front grille will cost over $10k to replace.
Haha. I honestly didn’t believe him, I knew he was full of hot air and manipulating a story his brothers friends uncles cousins father had told him.

Lazzo thanks for getting back and it's wonderful to hear the enthusiasm of a real petrol head who just did it. Lovely.

No worries, and it’s nice to have something different to talk about other than how to fix a Falcon, what petrol is better for a Hyundai Getz and chapter after chapter of Jazz’s infatuation with Volkswagen’s and Fiats.

Couldn’t agree more, great to hear the enthusiasm and joy of ownership. We need more positive stories like this, despite the sad naysayers. Well done Lazzo.

Cracker car, would love to own one myself, but I make do with an aging Audi S3 6 speed manual remapped to 200kw, I still have loads of fun with it and being an old 2001 one its worthless and cost me around 4 weeks pay to buy and another 4 weeks pay to bring upto a good standard incl remap, downpipe, all fluids changed etc. I enjoy the Turbo sounds and general experience of driving it. My partner now has my 2004 A3 3.2 DSG, which has a stiffer chassis, better refinement etc, but I like the turbo.
What I want to know is this: How did a sh*tbox A3 with a tiny engine become one of the fastest saloon cars in the world? Some of the cars coming out of the US now with 700HP will give it a spanking though.
Beautiful car, but we shouldn't be comparing exotic supercars with tiny little turbo saloon cars.

OP, what swung you purchasing in favor of the sedan? I mostly see the sports back variant of RS audi's around.

I enjoyed this video of one accelerating to 280km per hour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-L8DdwQgys While its all pointless having a fast car with our medieval 100km speed limits etc. its nice having the power there, for quick over taking and good acceleration up hills.

Where in the world is the SS worth €61K? More like $40K US or about 2/3rd the cost. And I prefer the bigger more comfortable car, even if its not as fast, but each to our own.
