I never understood why you would put a turbo on a high compression, front wheel drive car. Why not start with a RWD or 4WD turbo setup and work from there! Hell of a lot easier, you won't get mad wheel spin, it will handle the power a lot better etc etc.

scotty20001, Oct 15, 5:32am
you really do have counting issues don't you!

scotty20001, Oct 15, 5:38am
i will post a new vid soon rice wankers, my L67 has undergone some rice bashing modifications.

scotty20001, Oct 15, 5:41am
+1 front wheel drive is fundamentally flawed, esp with a transverse engine layout with a trans-axle and unequal length half shafts.

mugenb20b, Oct 15, 5:50am
FFS Scotty! Have a good look at FWD cars and see how the manufacturers have eliminated that "problem". Let's say a 1989 Ford Telstar or a '97 Honda Accord.

mugenb20b, Oct 15, 5:52am
Not all cars are race cars Scotty, and some.have limited slip diffs.

bellky, Oct 15, 5:52am

I must admit, I preferred RWD, especially at Trackdays, but I only had an E30 325i, which lacked the straight line power I needed to overtake the Hondas.so I got a Turbo Honda and now I pass the Vtec Hondas like they are not moving on the straight, its rather fun beating cars worth 5x more in a 80's Honda

thegravelracer, Oct 15, 6:27am
well no wonder you dont understand it sounds like fwd cars arent your buzz but they are mine and they dont just wheel spin ect they just require a driver who knows how to drive a powerful fwd and a few other mods help LSD ect And scotty shut up you wouldnt know a fast car if it was right in front of you [lol 8second man ] , on a track a fwd is a tonne of fun and some can easily out handle rwd turbo ect ''SOME''

thegravelracer, Oct 15, 6:28am
+1 hard

scotty20001, Oct 15, 7:08am
says you who drives a shit heap made in a 3rd world country, i have driven cars that would make you shit your pants rice boy, a C32 AMG would be one of the fastest i have driven along with a 2010 FPV GT 5.0L supercharged both would make your rice crap look like a joke, don't try and school me on what i already know, sounds to me like YOU wouldn't know a fast car or a well sorted chassis if it came up and bit you right in the arse, 8 seconds you must have a counting problem just like your ricer mate wrong 2 never mind, i will the post a new video when i am good and ready with more modifications done, i have never seen a video from you either so just like every other rice boy i come across you are all talk, i know my S/C 6 Commodore isn't the quickest thing out there but it sure will hold its own against the shit heaps you rice boys think are so great.

scotty20001, Oct 15, 7:10am
turbo + high compression ratio = TIME BOMB!

johnf_456, Oct 15, 7:13am
Gosh what a laugh

trdbzr, Oct 15, 7:26am
Properly built FWD cars can actually be quite fast. For example Barry Manon's 0 GRIP levin. Its got a Toyota 1.8L bottom end and a blacktop 4AGE head off a 1.6L Levin. Its turbo'd and fully rebuilt. It ran a 10.8 1/4 mile and was the 2008 Superlap Taupo champion. This is all in a AE92 FWD Levin.

BTW Scotty, theres a big difference between OWNING a car and simply
DRIVING one at some point in your life.

thegravelracer, Oct 15, 7:29am
not comparing tomatoes with tomatoesyour comparing a 1.6L\1.8L 4cly to a 5.0L v8 geeezzz what ever car guru .I aint all talk you are mate your bullshit is stinking up this forum take your v8 crap and start another thread with it

scotty20001, Oct 15, 7:30am
take your thai crap back to where it came from rice boy.

thegravelracer, Oct 15, 7:33am
your an uneducated fool scotty and you look like a moron when you spout such crap, my car aint made in Thailand ,and compared to your holden its a marvel of technology and engineering .END

ninja_man, Oct 15, 9:23pm
ofcoarse a $80k car is going to beat an 8k car!. the fact that some honda's (the type r's or sk2) can keep up with cars 5 times the value is why people like them. By the way have you ever driven a type r honda! dont think so

mugenb20b, Oct 15, 9:36pm
You know Scotty, most diesel vehicles have turbos, so again, there goes your theory down the gurgler.

mugenb20b, Oct 15, 9:39pm
Japan.a 3rd world country! That comment proves exactly how little you know.

scotty20001, Oct 15, 10:39pm
i was talking about a petrol engine just in case that wasn't obvious, diesels need a high compression ratio to ignite the fuel, and are made of stronger components.

scotty20001, Oct 15, 10:39pm
you really are clutching at straws now aren't you.

michael.benn, Oct 15, 10:41pm
I giggled a little bit.

mugenb20b, Oct 15, 10:43pm
Not at all. Japanese make better quality and faster cars than Australians.

richardmayes, Oct 15, 11:39pm
You can easily tell when Scotty's VTEC kicks in.
