The speedo on them doesn't go that high. I'm pretty sure the VP clubby had a 220k speedo too (another post)

You're right and if anyone thinks he has had a 2.5 telstar up to 280 kph has to have 2 dicks cause nobody would get that stupid pulling just 1. Its amazing how these near standard cars of the 90,s can run as fast as Porsches and Lambos. But I do agree with the VN comment, I grabbed a rental in Adelaide back in 89 and absolutely thrashed it thru to Melbourne and back and regularly saw 210-220 on the speedo. Was great till my dickhead passanger wound the window down to throw out a ciggie butt, nearly sucked us out of the car.LOL

hi ling or crash ling google the radish telstar95 model 2.5 v6 quad cam purple met paint extra fittings extra suspensiopn and motor mods asembled specifically for radisich had to produce 100 cars 12 came to nz 40 odd to aussy a hell v lot went to uk, a 4 wheel drive and a 4 wheel steer version were also released speedo goes to 260 kph google it then open your small minded mind they really get up and snot like the 302 s of old eat rx7s off the mark breakfast lunch n tea

funny cause back in 2011 you said it had a 240Km speedo(which it does) and there was never a 4wd or 4ws version.
and yours was an auto. and they suck.

Interestingly the motor was the std 2.5 quad cam, only differece was suspension, wheels and no airconditioner to save weight, and a couple of Paul Crapavich signatures, gotta be worth an extra 50 kph easy.dreamer///- // I'll tell you what you find 1 and I'll race it anytime any place and I wont shift out of 3rd gear and see if you can keep up with me. VE valiant with a 318 V8and a holley 4 barrel carb . got it up to about 215 and then it started to shake like crazy. scared the heck out of me so i backed off lol

The Raddlesnitch Telstar had a whopping 141kw, it will never, ever go anywhere near 280, or 260, not even a genuine 230. It was never 4wd, and even if it was, it'd be heavy as sh!t and slower than a wet week in prison.

Exactly, I run a modified 01 Busa and know what sort of power it needs to get to those speeds. It will do and has been clocked at in excess of 320kph. I had idiots for years telling me how fast their cars could go but when I offer to run beside them and Pace them they find all sorts of excuses.

had a few people in her edishing me radisich special ed telstar even thoe they dont know what they are talking about in reality if they actually did some research they d know what i said was the truth , I did own one for a few years it did have a 260 k speedo and I had it up to 210 on bluff road more than once 141 kw yer a mabe 4 wheel drive version yes4 wheel steer version yes sold uin the uk yes raced in aussy and in the uk yes get it rite and you ve never seen my telstar if you had you d know what I say is truth get over it plonkers

Radisich has a KL-DE engine so 120-130KW max.If you really like that car/engine just get a capella or an MX6 with the KL-ZE. Not dissingthe Radisich but its just a telstar with Bilstein shocks, alloy wheels and a trim package.Should of had at least the ZE motor from factory.
Carmad by all means provide me with some evidence to prove me wrong.

unknown google radisich telstars and/or email ford japan theyll happily provide you with the factory spec sheets 151 kw s racing suspension bigger fuel injection ,chipped computer did have spec alloys did have air con did have cruise controll, did have 3 in one stereo did have cloth trim radisich signatures drivers rear tail light and 2 front guards , mine being the ghia special edition made 1995 , details I put above true fact mate, 210 on bluff rd from the hill going towards bluff I was doing 160ks by time I got to the end of that strait I was at 210 and it was unstable in the back end slowed right down tried again with weight in boot bit better but still wobbly at 210 guy I mentioned a druggy was trying to sell it for 3 k with a patched up waterpump relacement , missing dash bits ,may even have had a blown gasketfor 3k lols 2 k tops fix what it needs stick up on blocks and sit on it 5 years , the dam thing surprised the crap out ve me u poke that throttle youll be back in your seat holding on to that steering wheel for life man once it hits 3rd it ll redline at 6500rpm peg 4th and level out good run no wind good strait road better than the kennington straight it ll do 215-220 top end but when she gets wobbly slow down straight away ,I had a toyota crown turbo 2.8 garret turbo after market fitted in 3 quarters of a block i d hit 180 ks never underestimate them jap mothers they know how to extract the grunt aye the crown I pranged up at 180 ks my fault well sort of but dont like speeding that much anymore speed kills ,there ll be 10 or more over the xmas period this year always the same very rare do we have a zero kill rate on the road and such a waste aye have a good nite

\ Can I interrupt this bit of fallacy, I was the lead engineer on the Radisch Telstar in 1995. They were a bog standard V6 Telstar sedan with modified shocks, larger wheels and a spoiler. They were only made in NZ and from memory only 5 lots (100 cars) were built. The first one we were working on fell off the 4 post hoist the day before the Auckand Car show and ended up going to the show with 4x2's for the shocks as they had not arrrived in time and the wrong front bumper and grill. We did a lot of track work with Paul at Pukekohe as the 2.5 V6 was a brilliant motor and it was the handling that let the car down. The instrument cluster was again just a standard Telstar V6 of the day as Mazda Japan was not happy with the doing any mods for us. If I could find one in good condition I would buy one, just for the memories, but alas they have all been thrashed. And the car was only sold in NZ, we were not allowed to export it as it did not comply to the local content rules of the time.

There is no way you telstar goes that fast more like 220 tops, my car has 170kw, does 0-100k in 5.9sec and top speed of 246km/h,

None of those made it to OZ for the same reason Jappa imports were banned there the cars dont meet the ADR regs and of course Ozzys dont care who Paul Radisich is.
