I also use Adblock Plus and I see no adverts at all. Adblock blocks 11 adverts per listing page for me. The page is marginally slower to load than it used to be (VDSL) but I dont like the HUGE font. Makes me scroll forever to get to the end of the page.

Terrible. Wouldn't recommend this new Trademe as an auction. Give us an option for the old view, this new one sucks.

gunhand, Jul 25, 9:15am
Well after using it for a few days you soon get used to it and found only a couple of minor annoying things but persist and it will become second nature like the last changes they made.

Agree completely.
Why take over a company because it's good . . .
And then change it, for the sake of changing it?
I'm hardly ever here now . . . because it's junk.

chalet, Jul 27, 3:03am
I have to agree - a giant BACKWARD step! It totally sucks! Doea anybody know what trademe was thinking?

headcat, Jul 28, 2:16am
People get used to having only one leg but I'd bet they would rather have two.

unclejake, Jul 28, 6:21am
TradeMe just gets worse and worse.

The sellers pay to sell, but the buyers can hardly see anything due to all the third party advertising.

keith190, Jul 28, 6:29am
I can not work out how to view most recently listed,Any help would be appreciated

apollo11, Jul 28, 6:30am
Use an adblocker.

gunhand, Jul 28, 6:37am
Once you have decided on which district etc etc and hit "search" there will be a heading that says "featured first" just click the arrow and pick latest listings.

keith190, Jul 28, 7:40am
Could not see for looking Thank you gunhand

bigmong, Jul 29, 9:35am
Why wont it go back to the last car you looked at in your search. It starts back at the top. super useless and time waster. Plus slow to load too many ads

kazbanz, Jul 30, 2:54am
Something else too. You cant cut and paste any pictures to your desktop so you can blow then up to a decent size. Makes looking for dents and scratches very hard.

speeedy1, Jul 30, 8:33am
If its British owned then you could expect it to follow in the footsteps of all the great British industries that ignored their loyal market.
I will start the list. BSA, Triumph, Norton, .

lakeview3, Jul 30, 9:04am
rover.

bigmong, Jul 30, 9:59am
FANTASTIC HOW YOU HAVE RECREATED DIAL UP INTERNET LIKE THE OLD DAYS. SLOW AND FRUSTRATING! WHAT A TIME WARP BACKWARDS. LOVE IT.

howard24, Jul 30, 2:25pm
STILL POOYE HEY

jay7jay, Aug 2, 5:47am
As someone with usually around 50 ads quitting my obsolete parts collection the change has been devastating. Viewing rates are down around 70%, because browsing is so slow and inconvenient. It's all very well to search for something you want by description, but a lot of sales happen by serendipity when people browse, and those people are gone. I understand, as I find it too inconvenient to be bothered browsing as well. Fewer views equals fewer watchers equals fewer buyers, and I'm questioning if it's worth bothering to continue the work and effort.

It ain't broke, so why "fix" it?
Was straightforward ,so much easier to use before, and now simply confusing and takes longer to find what I'm looking for.

strobo, Aug 2, 8:27pm
Just more proof their adjustments and changes are for worse than better .I don't think TM give a shit either way by the looks of it . Blardy shame to see those offerings go if you were to leave! Idiots that can't leave things alone that otherwise worked just fine before .

kazbanz, Aug 2, 11:28pm
NONE of which had a total market monopoly.
I reckon E bay needs to get going here

kazbanz, Aug 2, 11:30pm
tard me have a long history of doing exactly that. They will now "justify" the price increase no doubt not far off on the basis of all the "improvements " they have made

tony9, Aug 2, 11:37pm
Have you all clicked the link near the bottom of the page called "Tell Us What You Think"?

PLEASE make sure you do, or you will have the new system forced on us.

kiwilandchch, Aug 3, 12:19am
It was to easy to use they wanting to add clicks clicks and more clicks to everything to find out the same info with half the clicks

alowishes, Aug 3, 12:30am
If TM bofins read this they will hopefully have heard “the customer is always right”
But will they take notice? Pffft!
